The big European football festival kicks off in Germany on 14 June 2024. Celebrate football with us at PASINO.ch, keep your fingers crossed for our national team and enjoy a firework of free spins!
Our Swiss national team is taking part in the biggest football spectacle on European soil for the sixth time. We celebrated our greatest success in 2021, when the national team advanced to the quarter-finals by beating France on penalties. Can we top this result at the European football festival in 2024?
Admittedly, the road to this year's major European football tournament was a little bumpy for our Swiss team. But at least we finished second in our group behind Romania in qualifying and the draw in Hamburg also clearly favoured our national team.
Not only can we take on our «dream rival» and hosts Germany in Group A, but with Hungary and Scotland we also have opponents we can definitely hold our own against. These are our national team's matches in the group stage:
If we finish first or second in Group A, we are guaranteed a place in the round of 16, but even if we finish third, we could still make it through to the top 16.
Once the hurdle of the group matches has been cleared - and we are assuming this at this point - our Nati will compete in the hot final phase of the European football event of superlatives from 29 June. The round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place until 10 July 2024. The big and declared goal is, of course, the final on 14 July 2024 in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. Will our Nati succeed in a Swiss summer fairytale?
