Verifying your PASINO.ch account is the key to a safe and responsible gaming experience. In our blog article, you can find out how verification helps to ensure a safe and fair gaming environment for all players and how account verification works at PASINO.ch.
Verification is a process in which a player's identity and personal information is checked. The aim is to ensure that a player is who he says he is and that he has reached the minimum legal age to participate in gaming. The independent company Jumio carries out the identity check. For this purpose, it is necessary for a player to send a copy of an ID. If the address cannot be clearly confirmed, it is also required to submit a household bill that is not older than three months in order to clearly confirm the identity. The final verification is carried out by customer service at PASINO.ch.
Every legal Swiss online casino is by law obliged by the Swiss Federal Gaming Board (SFGB) to carry out this verification.
We know that for some players, verification is an unavoidable hassle. It is therefore important for us to show you why it is crucial and relevant.
Account verification is by far the most effective means of ensuring the integrity and security of online casinos and protecting vulnerable people.
In detail, this means
Verification ensures that minors do not have access to gaming. This is an important protection mechanism to safeguard young people from the potential risks of playing games of chance.
In addition, verification helps to ensure that the protection of individual identity meets the highest standards by ensuring that the person opening an account is actually that person.
This in turn protects vulnerable people, especially players who are subject to a gambling ban, but also people at risk of gambling addiction, from potential harm.
Verification is also an effective tool for promoting security and fraud prevention, as it ensures that all accounts are authentic and players' identities have been verified.
Finally, verification also helps to strengthen the integrity of the financial system by ensuring that the identity of users is known and that suspicious transactions can be identified.
Last but not least, verifying your account is important so that you can withdraw your winnings. If your account is not verified, you can only withdraw the amount corresponding to your deposit up to a maximum of CHF 1'000. Winnings which you have generated and which exceed this amount can only be withdrawn once your account has been verified.
As you can see, by verifying your PASINO.ch account, you are making a valuable contribution to ensuring that online gaming in Switzerland is safe and fair. Without exception, all online casinos which legally offer their services in Switzerland carry out verification. This is why it is so important that you choose an online casino licensed in Switzerland when deciding on a casino you trust.
